We awoke Tuesday morning to high winds in Oia; whitecaps could be seen to the horizon. We enjoyed our breakfast and spent a leisurely morning before having to pack up and say good-bye to our spectacular view. We took a 25 minute taxi ride to our next destination on the island, Kamari Beach. Kamari is known for it's black, pebbled beach, boardwalk feel, fun bars, and lots of restaurants. We arrived at about 12:30pm and grabbed lunch while we waited for our room at Bellonias Villas. The hotel is situated to the right side of the boardwalk and hillside (if you're facing the ocean) and only steps from the beach. We were really excited to be spending four days relaxing on the beach :) Our days consisted of sleeping in, relaxing at the beach for the day, lunches on the boardwalk, quick workouts and naps, happy hour, and then nice dinners....pretty idyllic!

Sunset at Kamari Beach...not quite what it's like in Oia!
We went to the outdoor cinema to see Ice Age 4. Not quite our movie, but we wanted to check out the space...it was so cool!
