White vs. Colored Christmas Lights

Christmas is our favorite holiday and we love all of the traditions that come with it! One source of contention in our marriage is the use of white lights vs. colored lights. I prefer white lights and Tyler prefers colored; I like the classic look of a white light Christmas tree and Tyler thinks it looks boring! During our recent conversation, Tyler agreed to let me have white lights on the tree if he got to put up a strand of color lights wherever he wanted in the apartment. I figured there was little harm with this deal...boy was I wrong! Tyler purchased flashing, colored lights and hung them going up the middle of one of our walls in the living room around his "office!" Here is a picture of my mischievous husband so proud of his creativity!
