Easiest Chicken Parmesan Dish Ever!!!

I have always wanted to make Chicken Parmesan; however, I've never gotten around to doing it. I found an awesome recipe online at my new favorite food blog, Food Wishes. It was the easiest dish ever to make and made for a perfect week night dinner!

Ingredients:
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • hot red pepper flakes, to taste
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts (I used 5, but they were huge!)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped basil
  • 8 oz mozzarella, shredded
  • 4 oz Parmesan, grated
  • 1 (5-oz) package garlic croutons
Directions
  1. Preheat over to 350 degrees.
  2. In a 9x13 baking dish, cover the bottom of the pan with the olive oil, crushed garlic cloves, and chili pepper flakes.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the pan.
  4. Pour 2 cups of marinara sauce over the chicken and coat chicken evenly.
  5. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and parmesan cheese over the chicken breasts. Next sprinkle the chopped basil.
  6. Pour the package of croutons over the dish and spread evenly.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over dish.
  8. Bake for approximately 35-60 minutes. I know that seems like a wide range; however, the dish said it only took 35 minutes but ours took 1 hour.
