Tyler and I bother were so exhausted from the work week and
traveling that we slept for more than 12 hours! We awoke somewhat refreshed and
had our first meal at the hotel on the terrace overlooking the sea…not a bad
way to wake up! After breakfast, we decided to head down the 290 stairs and
rent two chairs and an umbrella for the day. We relaxed in the sun/shade, read
our books, ventured into the water multiple times to cool down, and enjoyed a
nice lunch, before heading back to enjoy some wine on our terrace before
dinner. We have the most amazing views from our balcony and decided to grab a
bottle of wine before dinner.

Sunset in Positano
We made dinner reservations at a restaurant
called La Gravitella in Praiano (the next town over from Positano). My mom’s
friends recommended this place and we decided to give it a try. The restaurant
has a boat that picks its guests up at the pier in Positano and brings them to
the restaurant. It was such a cool way to take in the coast and only took us
about 10 minutes to get there. The food was fantastic and we enjoyed a lot of
seafood: grilled octopuses, mussels, and pasta scampi. After a delicious meal,
we headed back on the boat and grabbed a cup of gelato before retiring for the
night.
