Christmas Eve!!!

Christmas Eve was another eventful day and so much fun! Adrian (Tyler's sister) and I woke up early to get a quick workout in before we stuffed our face with delicious food! Tyler's family and the Daiss family always get together for breakfast on Christmas Eve and put together 400 luminaries for the neighborhood. Here's a picture of Adrian and Mark before breakfast.

The luminaries are such a great tradition and I LOVED being apart of it this year. Linc (Tyler's Dad) spends the entire year ensuring the compost is perfect for the bags :) We got a massive assembly line going and put compost in paper bags with add a mini tea light to each bag.

We managed to create 400 luminaries in record time! After luminaries, we hung out and played Kan Jam in the backyard before heading over to my house for a Christmas Eve lunch.

Josh's Christmas present to my mom and Chris was lobster from Maine. He did all of the grocery shopping and made lobster bisque, lobster rolls, and even put together a cheese platter for an appetizer! The lobster was so delicious and we all decided the lobster lunch needs to be a recurring tradition. Here's a picture of the chef himself and all of his wonderful dishes.

Following lunch, we watch the Forty Niners play and got ready for a Christmas cocktail party. My mom invited our neighbors and her group of friends over for Christmas cocktails. It was so nice to see everyone and celebrate Christmas together (I need to get the pictures I took on my mom's camera.). Everyone was in the holiday spirit including the cream cheese and pepper jelly appetizer...I was really proud of my display ;) Happy Christmas Eve!!!
