On Thursday, my friend Ali and I had a baking date, which was a blast. We made more Chocolate Almond Bark, had dinner with her parents and caught up! Here's a picture of our bark all packaged up!
After my baking date, I headed to the airport to pick up Tyler...The airport was so packed...I've never seen it quite that busy before...must be Christmas! We then headed to Tyler's parents house for the night. Friday, Tyler arranged a pickup basketball game with 15 guys, which apparently was a great success. I met them for lunch at our favorite dive bar, The Goose. It was so great to see all of our friends :) After lunch, we headed back to Tyler's house and visited with his neighbors, The Daiss Clan. We hung out drinking cider, playing Kan Jam, and catching up!
Once Kan Jam was over, we headed back to Tyler's house for our favorite meal, Fred's Steak, with his family. Fred's Steak is the best steak that you can only get at Stanford Shopping Center! After dinner, our friends Nick and Mark came over, which was a real treat! Friday was a fun-filled, packed day and we really enjoyed seeing all of our family and friends!
