Fall Ball

Last night, Tyler and I went to Columbia Business School's Fall Ball and had a great time with all of his classmates. It was so nice to see everyone dressed up and not worrying about school or recruiting for one night :) We left our apartment around 7pm and headed to an apartment party for a little pre-partying. It was great...Tyler's cluster organized 3 pre-parties for anyone who wanted to attend, which ensured that everyone had a place to meet beforehand that wasn't too crowded...those smart b-school students! We then ventured to the formal, which was at a huge event space in Midtown. Fortunately, we were able to find many of Tyler's classmates and my friends right when we walked in. And the best surprise of all was seeing our friend, Lauren, from high school! Lauren is currently in grad school at Harvard and her best friend from college is a second year at Columbia. Lauren came down for the weekend and came to the formal. It was sooooo nice getting caught up with her and seeing a friend from home :) In case you can't tell from the photo, the theme of the Fall Ball was a masquerade party. Everyone came with all kinds of masks...Lauren's was by far one of the best ones we saw!
