Week 16 with the girls was spent in Maine, our happy place :) Dabba and Bapu arrived very late on Tuesday night and Tyler flew up Wednesday night from NYC. For the first few days of their trip, we just hung out at the house and spent our time in the yard. I also managed to redo our fireplace screen after watching from videos on YouTube. I was looking to replace the screen as it's super old; however, I struggled to find anything that would fit our fireplace. Turns out the fireplace is a unique height, so I went with plan B and decided to revitalize it. I bought heat resistant black spray paint and cleaned the brass handles and it came out looking like new (see before and after pics below). For the weekend, we headed up the coast about 1.5 hours to celebrate Tyler's cousin's wedding. Tyler and his parents drove up on Friday for the welcome dinner and I drove up with the kids on Saturday morning. It was a gorgeous day and nice to see Tyler's extended family. We drove back Saturday night and enjoyed a relaxed Sunday at home and had a fun BBQ Sunday night.
