The living room has been on my list of things to tackle once the addition was done. We had a HUGE and ugly couch thanks to my dad ;) that I really wanted to get rid of. I'm pretty sure that couch had been around for about 20 years...it was practically part of the family. I took advantage of the Memorial Day sales and bought an all new couch, end tables, lamps, rugs, and a chair. It was amazing how much the room was transformed with new living room furniture...it feels so much bigger and it has such a soothing feeling to it. We all just LOVE it :) Below are some before and after pictures...some of the before pictures are from when my grandmother was alive and we'd visit in the summer!
Mounting the TV was huge and freed up quite a bit of space.
