We ate at Carbone a little over a year ago and absolutely LOVED our meal. We decided we wanted to go back before the girls arrive and thought with a little planning we'd have no problem getting a reservation. Boy was I wrong! Not only is Carbone exact about how you can request a reservation, it's nearly impossible to get one. After so many back and forth emails and one last ditch attempt we managed to get a reservation for 6:15pm last Friday and it did not disappoint!
This was by far the BEST calamari we've ever had and we've eaten a LOT of calamari over the years. The butter sauce was delicious.
We of course had to have the Caesar salad - the croutons are amazing.
We ordered the orecchiette pasta, which was like a carbonara but not to heavy.
And we mixed up our meat order and got the cherry pepper ribs, which had a ton of flavor.
