We headed out on our Saturday date night last weekend and headed to a restaurant in the East Village called Tuome. Tyler had taken his parents there when they last visited and thought that I would really enjoy the food. It's a quite little spot that focuses on American food with Asian influence. The flavors in each dish were amazing and the presentation was really well done. Definitely worth checking out this restaurant if you're looking for a unique spot in NYC.
