This was a super easy, one pot meal and very tasty....Tyler was on a business trip and came home and ate all the leftovers claiming it was "soooooo good!"
Ingredients
- 1 10 oz. package of farro
- 1 bunch of asparagus chopped into 1 inch pieces
- 1 5 oz. package of diced proscuitto
- 3/4 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup shredded Asiago and Parmesan cheese blend
Directions
- In a pot of boiling water, cook farro for 12 minutes. At about 6 minutes in, drop the pieces of asparagus into the bot. Once cooked, drain the farro and asparagus.
- In the same pot on medium heat, mix together the cream, shredded cheese, and proscuitto stirring until the cheese melts and blends with the cream.
- Pour the farro and asparagus into the pot with the cream mixture and stir until the farro is covered.
