Tyler and I decided to try and navigate the subway system our first Saturday in NYC. We needed to pick up our new William-Sonoma All-Clad pots and pans we got as a wedding present as well as pick up a few other supplies for the apartment. As you might know, my husband loves public transportation and maps! We figured out our route and made it to William-Sonoma in 15 minutes...not bad. We shopped around a while and then decided it was time to head home. Instead of taking a cab (like reasonable people do) we decided we could make it home via the subway.
Here's a picture of Tyler loaded up with our All-Clad pots and pans. We managed to make it home in one piece, but were exhausted from carrying everything. I think we'll take a cab next time!
