Memorial Day BBQ

On Memorial Day, we walked down to Broadway Street where all of the streets were closed off for a town parade. It was so cute and had such a small town feel and Logan absolutely LOVED seeing the fire engines and all of the schools' marching bands. He stood and waved at each group that passed us.

For dinner, we planned a feast since it was the last big meal before we had tohead back to NYC on Thursday of the week. Tyler got a great cut of meat to do brisket on the Trager and I made my favorite butter lettuce salad served with a crab cake, avocado, and papaya and we had corn to go with it. For dessert, I had a special request from Tyler and Sharnel to make banana pudding, which is always a crowd pleaser! The brisket was easily the best we've ever had and the salad and corn were a great compliment to the flavors of the meat.
