Dinner at The Beatrice Inn

It's always so hard to get reservations at some of the top restaurants in the city as they are pretty much booked for 1-2 months straight. Well last night, we had the restaurant gods on our side and I emailed The Beatrice Inn, a place I've been really wanting to try, to see if they had any cancellations. We got so lucky and managed to get a 8:30pm reservation, so we pushed our babysitter back by a bit and enjoyed a delicious dinner. The restaurant is right in West Village and is essentially on the basement floor, but has a really cool vibe with open fire places and wood finishes. The portions are quite large and meant to be shared and everything we had was fantastic. We will definitely be coming back!
We ordered the kale salad, which is essentially a caesar salad, but it was the biggest platter of kale I've ever seen and the croutons were garlic bread and melted in your mouth.
We split the ribeye steak with rosemary, garlic, blackberry butter.
This potato gratin came out piping hot and was a great compliment to the steak.
I had to take a picture of the fish being served table side to the table next to us. The presentation of every dish was really great, especially the fire show! For dessert, we had the cheesecake, which was simple but delicious.
