Last night, we hosted a really fun and festive holiday party and had lots of friends from work and school and my brother and cousins. Like past years, we did a big spread of food and had LOTS of cocktails.....we just bought a new bar cart and it was the perfect addition to our holiday soirée. Here was the menu:
Drinks
Drinks
- Owen's Mules and Palomas - these also served as great mock-tails for all of my coworkers who are pregnant!
- Wine and beer
Food
- Honey glazed ham with mini dinner rolls and honey mustard
- Pumpkin gnocchi and sage butter (just purchased the gnocchi from Raffetto's and served them on toothpicks)
- Party hot dogs
- Goat cheese, fig jam, prosciutto, and basil crostinis
- Baked brie (I just warmed it in the oven at 325 degrees for 10 minutes and served it with sliced bread)
- Veggie train - this was by far the most adorable veggie display ever!
- Teriyaki meatballs
- Cheesy garlic bites
Desserts
- Snickerdoodle brownies - so, so good!
- Hot chocolate cookies - The BIGGEST hit
- Oatmeal glazed cookies - tasty, but not as good as the other two desserts
Decor
The spread
The most adorable veggie train - I drew the track on aluminum foil ;)
Honey glazed ham, which was out of this world!
Goat cheese, fig jam, prosciutto, basil crostinis
Pumpkin gnocchi bits
Hot chocolate cookies - managed to take one pic before they were all devoured!
This is the only picture I have of people from the night! We took this picture and sent it to my mother goose :)
