Fun weekend a home

We had a really nice, low key weekend at home! Friday night, we grabbed dinner with my brother and a friend at Lovely Day, my brother's favorite Thai restaurant. It's a quaint restaurant and has a hipster vibe and really delicious food. Saturday, we woke up early and headed to our workout classes and then I ventured to Costco and Target with my brother. Tyler and I then had separate dinner plans with friends; Tyler had a guys dinner with some friends from b-school to celebrate a birthday and Jacqui and I met up with our friends Liz and Yves for dinner in Brooklyn. On Sunday, we slept in and then hung out watching the Masters, stamping Owen's boxes (look how cool our stamp is!), hanging our newly framed painting from Cuba, making chocolate chip cookie dough to freeze, and this amazing rosemary and garlic lamb roast for dinner. It was a pretty great weekend and fun to just be home and see family and friends!
We've been shipping out lots of orders! We wanted to brand our boxes, but it's really expensive to do custom boxes. So, I had a large stamp made and then custom branded shipping tape and the boxes look sooooo good!
We bought this beautiful painting in Cuba and I finally had it custom framed. The painting looks tilted in the picture from the angle I took it at, but you get the idea :) It matches the colors in our bedroom perfectly and looks like it was made for that wall.
Sunday calls for chocolate chip cookies!
This is the recipe we got from Tyler's mom and it makes soooo many cookies. What I like to do is use my cookie scooper and freeze all of the dough. This way, you can have fresh cookies on demand!
And for dinner, I made this amazing lamb shoulder roast. Tyler claimed it was one of the best meals he has ever had, which is saying a lot! The lamb was from Five Marys Farm and I served it with French string beans and couscous....yummy!
