Long overdue

Things at work have been absolutely INSANE but so much fun and it's because of the insanity that I haven't had a moment to update the blog. Here's a recap of what we've been up to over the past few weeks since my last post......
We headed out to the race track in New Jersey to celebrate our friend Mike's 30th birthday.
We ventured home for almost 10 days as I had to be in the bay area for work. We managed to go on a glorious hike with friends in Marin, spend lots of time with our families, and enjoyed a delicious meal At Sharon Heights (where we got married).
 Beautiful coast
The gang!
I finished knitting a baby blanket for one of my colleagues. I had started the blanket when I started traveling for all of the school pilots I was organizing and LOVE how it came out. I used my favorite yarn, Alchemy yarns, which I'm so bummed that they've discontinued the line :( I'll do another post with the pattern in case anyone is interested...I completely made it up!
 Blanket up close!
We were home for Google IO where we announced our new education product, Expeditions. It was one of the best experiences of my career and I couldn't have been more pumped with the excitement and interest in our product. Here's a highlight reel of the mainstream media coverage:
I also did a presentation with two of my colleagues on Paper Prototyping and how valuable this design technique is. As you can see from the above picture, our session was packed!

In the Cardboard booth, I as well as a few others led Expeditions demos taking people to places all over the world :) It was pretty fun!
This past week, I headed out to Coney Island with my girlfriends to see Mumford and Sons. Despite the rain and cold weather, we had a great time!
And last night, we celebrated Josh's birthday at a fantastic Greek restaurant called Taverna Kyclades. We hadn't had such delicious Greek food since we were on our honeymoon in Greece!
