Family night in SF

We flew home for the holidays on Sunday night, which was the best decision ever. We typically leave the Friday night before Christmas and it's always super stressful trying to get to the airport on time for our flight. This year, we opted for a stressless trip home and used Sunday to run errands, take down our tree (We can't control the heat in our apartment and it gets soooo hot when the windows are closed. We were worried the needles would all fall off and make a mess, so we put away the decorations and had our maintenance guys remove the tree....saddest day!), pack, and get organized for our two week vacation!

We made it home late Sunday night and Josh flew home in the afternoon on Monday. For Christmas, we gave my mom and Chris a surprise night up in the city with us. We stayed at the Westin in Union Square, which was lots of fun; we got upgraded and gave my mom and Chris a corner suite with a beautiful view of the city! We grabbed drinks at the hotel and then headed to Town Hall before calling it a night. We woke up early Tuesday and grabbed brunch before heading back home to finish our Christmas shopping. It was a perfect trip to get us in the Christmas spirit!
