Weekend in the city

This was our first weekend in a while that we were in the city. We took full advantage of not having a schedule and got caught up on life! We had our usual Saturday coffee and sat in the park, ran errands, spent lots of time outside, and had a fun date night! Check out the pics below for a recap :)
Gorgeous view of Washington Square Park on our way home from dinner
We got up bright and early on Saturday to test out our new roller blades. As some of you might recall, Tyler got me the above roller blades for my birthday this year and purchased a pair for himself.
We had so much fun "cruising" (ie hoping to not break out necks!) along the west side highway. After our little outing, we headed home and proceeded to take three hour naps (how glorious!) and spent the rest of the afternoon running errands and catching up on work.
It's been quite a while since we cooked dinner at home between the travel and working late, so it was nice to squeeze in a Sunday night dinner at home. Our Sunday "go-to" is rosemary pasta and sweet italian sausage from Raffetto's, which happens to literally be our favorite place to get fresh pasta. If we're in town, we always make a weekly stop to stock up on fresh ravioli, sauce, cheese, you name it! To accompany our usual, I made this awesome salad, which was soooooo good.
