4th of July 2014

We had another amazing 4th of July with friends and family in Maine :) 

The week started with a delicious Italian sandwich.......

followed by a shopping trip to the Christmas Tree Shop to stock up on supplies for the week.

The boys ventured to the bowling alley while the girls prepared dinner and drinks for the evening.......

We ate lots and lots of lobster.......

.......and wore really sweet bibs!

It rained on the actual 4th but we made the most of it and headed to the bowling alley.......

.......this time with everyone!

Some played dress up with ridiculous mustaches.......

and everyone headed out for a fun night out in Portland since the fireworks were cancelled due to rain.

With the weather slightly crummy, we stood in a really long line........

and took fun photos while we waited......

.......for the most amazing lunch!

That same evening, we had lobster yet again and some people were brave enough to take "lobster shooters" (aka drink the juice from the lobster claw)......

and others got really aggressive and piled lobster meat on their hot dogs!

We enjoyed one nice meal outside in the midst of the heavy rain.....

and managed to enjoy the beautiful fireworks, lights we hung on our patio, and a great fire with delicious s'mores and maybe a few ice cream cones from Red's Dairy Freeze :)
