Week 5 had a lot of highlights including Logan's one month birthday and lots of driving. My brother and his girlfriend, Kaitlin, came up to Maine for the weekend and we had an awesome time hanging out with them. We also had to venture back to NYC for two days as Logan and I both had our check-ups and then drove back up today. We did a lot this past week:
- Hung out with Josh and Kaitlin and got lots of snuggles in on the porch.
- Celebrated Logan's one month birthday
- Confirmed Logan is smiling and it's not just gas :) We also found a few ticklish spots - mom's pretty excited about this one.
- We went on lots of walks, enjoyed Cookie Jar, Scratch bagels and an epic breakfast sandwich made my Josh. He also made a killer lobster roll on our last night.
- Logan met more of his "Maine Family" including Jonathan and his son Luke as well as Cindy and Jackie. Cindy made Logan the most beautiful quilt (see pictures below)!
- Logan had his one month check-up and was 11 pounds (+ 3 pounds) and 23 inches long (+1.5 inches) and passed with flying colors.
- We survived the trip back to NYC and then back up to Maine and are thrilled to be here for the next two weeks.
